Strong winds are forecast for our region
Storm Debi is set to bring 'very strong' winds to Greater Manchester today - with several weather warnings issued by the Met Office.
The Met Office also predicts there may be 'some damage to buildings' with 'danger to life from flying debris possible'. The alert is active from 10am until 4pm and covers mainly coastal areas. Forecasters predict Northern Ireland and Scotland, as well of the North of England, will be worst hit by Storm Debi today.
