Strictly Come Dancing's Paul Merson is the bookies' favourite to be eliminated from the BBC show this weekend, with Nick Knowles and Pete Wicks also at risk of being axed
The odds aren't looking great for Paul Merson on Strictly Come Dancing , as bookies are betting he's likely to be the next celeb to leave the dance floor. Despite narrowly escaping elimination last week by surviving a dance-off against Toyah Willcox and Neil Jones , it seems his time on the show could be up.
Simon shared: "DIY SOS star Nick Knowles is second favourite to be eliminated this weekend, priced at 6/4. The BBC has yet to announce whether Nick will dance this week after he suffered an injury and withdrew from last week's show. Another celebrity at risk is Pete Wicks, priced at 3/1. The TOWIE star managed to escape the dance-off last week by seven points."
Paul might be the favourite to leave Strictly this weekend but that doesn't mean he isn't a hit with fans. It Takes Two viewers were left in hysterics earlier this week, as Paul cheekily "threw shade" at ex-competitor Toyah. Chatting with It Takes Two host Fleur East, Paul shared his experience of being in the bottom two with Toyah and ultimately surviving to dance another day with his partner Karen Hauer. When asked by Fleur about what goes through his mind during the nail-biting elimination moments, he quipped: "Do you know what? Nothing. Honestly, it's completely out of my hands and I'm completely powerless at that moment in time. So I just sit there and relax.
