Strictly Come Dancing stars Giovanni Pernice and Anton Du Beke had a run in with Spanish police during a trip abroad - until Gio managed to save the pair's skin
Strictly Come Dancing 's Giovanni Pernice and Anton Du Beke had a bit of trouble with the police while they were on holiday. But don't worry, Gio sorted it all out! The pair are back with another series of their travel series, Anton and Giovanni's Adventures in Spain, where they travel the European country together.
They parked outside a hotel in order to visit a bridge in Ronda, however soon spotted their car being towed away by police and had to rush back to prevent in. Giovanni tried to chat to the officer, who told them that 'no parking' was allowed there - as it was only for hotel guests. Some viewers were unsure whether the Strictly Come Dancing stars had actually been in trouble with police. One viewer tweeted: "Definitely not set up at all. #AntonAndGiovanni #AdventuresInSpain."
Meanwhile, Giovanni joined Strictly in 2015 and went on to win series 19 with EastEnders ' star Rose Ayling-Ellis. Last year, he was paired with actress Amanda Abbington - however, their journey on the show came to an abrupt end after the Sherlock star dropped out of the competition for "medical reasons".
