Jurkovec finished 23-for-41 for 283 yards, three TD passes and two interceptions.The unit put pressure on Jurkovec, sacking him four times and pummeling him before a couple of incomplete passes. They controlled their hosts’ run game, holding Boston College to 29 yards on 28 rushes.
Defensive end Wesley Bailey was monstrous on the final drive of the contest, sacking Jurkovec to force the three-and-out with 1:57 to play. Cornerback Robert Longerbeam had a huge game, intercepting a pass and getting a sack. Cornerback Christian Izien and linebacker Tyreem Powell had strong performances as well.The biggest issue for the Scarlet Knights: a struggling pass defense.
