Tom, 61, who is shooting scenes for the upcoming Mission Impossible movie, is unlikely to join his daughter's milestone celebration. This follows recent reports suggesting that Tom has little involvement in Suri's life. Despite their estrangement, Tom is set to cover Suri's educational expenses in line with their divorce settlement. The agreement stipulates that Tom will contribute $400,000 annually in child support until Suri turns 18, covering all her essential costs including "medical, dental, insurance, education, college and other extracurricular costs".
Katie has reportedly been cautious about keeping Suri's life away from public scrutiny and her ex-husband's Scientology beliefs. The couple's marriage began with a Scientologist ceremony in Italy in 2006, but over time, Katie's discomfort with the church grew.
