One person is in custody Saturday evening after shooting a person inside Town East Mall, Mesquite police say. Officers were dispatched to the mall at Interstate 635 and Town East Boulevard about 6:45 p.m. after a shooting was reported. Police said they arrested 39-year-old Zettie Minter of Dallas within five minutes.Minter faces charges of aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. It was unclear whether he had an attorney.One person, who was not identified, was struck by gunfire and taken to a hospital with injuries that weren’t life-threatening, authorities said.
