The Judicial Inquiry Commission, the agency that investigates judges, filed a new complaint against Todd in March, accusing her of refusing to fully comply with COJ’s order, making false or misleading statements about her return to work, and failing to make provisions for her cases when she said she was ill.
The COJ could impose a range of sanctions if it finds Todd guilty, including removing her from the bench. “I was actively working with my staff and doing what I needed to do to get my office up and running,” Todd testified.
