When the royal couple finally announced the name on their Twitter account, fans were ecstatic. But of course, they were also desperate to learn the meaning behind the title, as for some, it was a little unexpected due it not being a ‘traditional’ name despite running in the family.What does the name Louis mean? It’s kind of expected for a royal name to be steeped in significance. In terms of Louis, his means “famous in battle” or “famous warrior,” and originates from Germany and France.
The bomb was planted in his fishing boat in Mullaghmore, County Sligo Ireland, and the deaths have since been portrayed in the popular Netflix series, The Crown.
