Police are asking for help in identifying a man responsible for a sexual assault in central Tacoma.
At 12:29 a.m. on March 6, two females were walking in the 1100 block of South Warner Street when a man grabbed one of them and dragged her down the street, sexually assaulting her at gunpoint, police said.Police said they are looking for a man who is described as Black, believed to be in his 20s, between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall with a medium build.
Investigators are asking residents and businesses in the area to check their surveillance video to see if the incident was recorded, or to check for the suspect. Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person responsible. Anyone with information can call 800-222-8477.
