Mick's Hut on Corporation Street in Preston is being praised for its generosity as travellers were left stranded after train cancellations
A takeaway near Preston's train station has been praised for its kindness after it went above and beyond to deliver 60 bags of chips to stranded passengers when their train was cancelled.
They thanked a local Preston takeaway, Mick's Hut on Corporation Street for providing many of the passengers with huge portions of cut-price of chips as they waited. According to them, it appears that the kebab shop managed more than 60 bags of chips for those who were expecting to get on the train to Scotland.
Arriving by car 40 minutes later, the takeaway was then able to feed portions of chips to the travellers "for a fraction of the real cost." Mr Scoular from the school also left a favourable five-star review on Google, giving a "huge thank you" to the business for their act of kindness. "The world needs more business owners like these fellas. Love from Greenfaulds High School, Cumbernauld, Scotland xx"
