'We've had lots of good reviews but reviews don't pay the bills'
The owner of a takeaway that was forced to close because of the cost of living crisis has said that "reviews don't pay bills".
Taking to social media earlier this month, Eddie announced to his loyal customers the takeaway will be forced to shut its doors on February 5. He spoke honestly about why the takeaway has been forced to close in the post. The 43-year-old said: "Quite instantly, since covid, bills have shot up by 100%. Flour has gone from £8 to £16, wraps have gone from 80p to £1.60, but I can't put my prices up like that.
