Swedish fashion graduate Emma Gudmundson's zero-waste creations are all we want in our lives. We caught up with the designer here:
It means everything. Ever since I was a little kid, I have always been doing creative things like painting and sewing. It’s kind of the only thing I’m good at! But I have never had any big plans of becoming a designer - as long as I get to be creative every day, I’m happy. My favourite part is testing out new ideas when I knit. Since I don’t know the finished result, the “beforehand” is an exciting part of the process.
It does not always work out successfully, but I learn something new each time I try. I’m not interested in mass-production, I just want to make unique beautiful clothes that will be special and have value to the person that buys it.”Men what?” 😱❤️I’m hoping to have my own brand by then. I want to create a small business, where all garments are handmade and zero-waste.
