More than 200,000 fans are descending on the Scottish capital this weekend
Taylor Swift is kicking off her 15-date UK tour with three consecutive nights at the Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. More than 200,000 fans will descend on the Scottish capital for the run of shows between Friday June 7 to Sunday June 9.
Organisers said that overnight camping isn't permitted and advised fans not to start queuing too early. The venue said ahead of this weekend's shows: "Scottish Gas Murrayfield is situated in an industrial and residential area that isn’t suitable for overnight camping or anyone queuing too far in advance of the gates opening.
It also advised fans without tickets not to turn up to the venue. Those who do so will be moved on. Reiterating the venue's location, Murrayfield Stadium said: "We kindly ask that only those with tickets turn up to the stadium to avoid disruption to the local residents and businesses. The Eras Tour's mammoth three-and-a-half hour set celebrates Taylor's 20-year career so far. It honours 10 of her studio albums - from her second release Fearless to the recently-unveiled The Tortured Poets Department .
