Taylor Swift shows were cancelled this week due to terrorism threats. The global mega popstar was due to take to the stage for three shows in Vienna, Austria, but the dates were called off. Organisers stated that the events would be cancelled 'for everyone’s safety'.
Cancelled dates On Wednesday , events company, Barracuda Music which was holding the events, made the announcement on Instagram. It explained: 'With confirmation from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety.'
He explained: 'During our investigations, we identified preparatory actions and noted that the 19-year-old suspect had a particular focus on the Taylor Swift concerts in Vienna.'
