Tamara Drock, who was admitted to the hospital with COVID, had been placed on a ventilator in September when her condition worsened.
A copy of the lawsuit, seen by WPTV, said Tamara's condition"significantly worsened" when she was admitted to the intensive care unit and that staff refused to give her ivermectin.
Ryan originally filed the lawsuit in a bid to have staff treat Tamara with the medication, according to WPTV. "My wife is on death's doorstep, she has no other options," Ryan wrote in his attestation form that accompanied the lawsuit, according to the network.
