Elite athlete and all-round sound sportswoman Katarina Johnson-Thompson is attempting to get her first-ever Olympic medal tonight . Much-loved by Brits since she burst onto the heptathlon scene as a hopeful 19-year-old at London Olympics in 2012, she's now 31 - and she wants one of those medals.
The Scousers have been close friends ever since they first met as pupils at St Julie's school in Woolton, according to the Liverpool Echo. And their friendship has only become even more sweet as KJT gets closer to Olympic glory.Jodie has previously been blown away by her friend's achievements, telling her 2.5million Instagram followers: "When you give everything to a thing. We love you," alongside a picture of Katarina.
