NASA Orange 14s packing Coast Region title to Louisiana
The longtime baseball coaches at NASA Pony Baseball will once more be putting the state of Texas in their rear view mirror very shortly.
Unfortunately, the pair’s fine showing was dampened by an injury that Ervesun suffered in the fourth inning when he was hit in the face with a pitch. Just minutes before the game was called because of the mercy rule, the ball apparently glanced off the bill of the batting helmet, before striking Ervesun below the left eye, resulting in swelling and what looked like the imprint of the stitches from the baseball.
This is an entirely new NASA Orange roster so they weren’t around last August when the team watched a late lead in the title contest melt away to a select team.
