There were tears and disbelief as Manchester City won the Champions League for the first time. A second half goal from Spanish midfielder Rodri secured a 1-0 win for the Blues to claim a historic Treble.
After the game, midfielder John Stones said he was proud to have played his part in 'history'. He told BT Sport: "It was the thing that we were missing and I feel so pleased. It’s a pleasure to be a part of this team, to create this history. It’s so special. Skipper Ilkay Gundogan told BT Sport: "It’s an unbelievable night. We’re so happy. It’s difficult to put into words what just happened, it’s difficult to realise, but I think today we made history.
