Kesgrave High School in the east of England confirmed one of its pupils was involved and says that all at the school are safe.
A teenager has been arrested after the shooting of a 15-year-old boy which took place as he made his way to school.
Suffolk Police said in a statement:"Police are currently at the scene of a serious incident in Kesgrave. "Any witnesses, or anyone with information about this incident, is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting reference CAD 58 of 7 September."
