The manager explained : “I think a lot of games we did very well , we had a lot of clean sheets. Against Manchester City we defended very well. In general, against Arsenal we defended very well. “And that’s what I meant that all of the goals were avoidable and it can’t happen, that was my point, it cannot happen. When you concede three goals in a top game it is really difficult to win the game and that’s what happened.
Next up for Ten Hag’s side is a test against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup semi-final first leg. The manager is raring to win his first trophy with United.
