Warner Bros.’ decision in late July to launch “Tenet” in 70 overseas territories from Aug. 26 ahead of the U.S.,, has been welcomed by global cinema operators, who were nearing the end of their tether this summer with the studios’ ever-shifting release schedule in response to the pandemic. The release of “Tenet” is expected to be a major boon for movie theaters around the world.
