A 14-year-old Tennessee boy was arrested Tuesday after a Metro Nashville Police Department SUV was destroyed in a fire that was sparked by fireworks, authorities said.

No injuries were reported. Police shared photos of the SUV on fire and the aftermath of the destroyed vehicle.A 14-year-old told officers that he tossed a firework on the property, which set the police car on fire, authorities said. "The teen said he tossed a firework onto the property where the SUV was parked, catching it on fire," the department said.
