Alan Carr made a sad admission to his pal Amanda Holden during the latest episode of their BBC series. The comedian and the talent show judge are currently on-screen every Friday night in Amanda & Alan's Italian Job.
Earlier in the series, Alan and Amanda were seen renovating the kitchen of the Sicilian property when Amanda, 5, said to Alan: "I feel free here, I feel really relaxed. Is this a good time do you think... because I know you've had a massively stressful year. You've gone through a divorce, you're on tour and now we've decided to take on this house. They're a lot of quite stressful things.
Alan later spoke about one of the reasons for the split on ITV's Lorraine. He said at the time: "I wrote the tour, and then our marriage broke down during Covid, because it was so stressful, everything ... And then I was going on stage and I was just like, 'Well this doesn't make sense, this doesn't make sense.'
But during the latest episode of their series on Friday night , Amanda brought up the possibility of Alan finding love again as the Britain's Got Talent star asked her pal: "When do you feel like you might be ready to open up your heart again?" to which Alan: "Oh I don't know."
