The supermarkets are recalling a version of caramel bites over an undeclared ingredient.
Shoppers are being urged to look out for a popular snack that has been recalled from major supermarkets over a health and safety concern.
This includes Morrisons' Market Street 18 Caramel Crispy Bites, with the supermarket recalling products with an end date up until December 12. Morrisons said: "No other products are affected by this issue. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety."
As reported by WalesOnline, an allergen update said: "If you have purchased Asda Chocolate Caramel Mini Crisp Bites with the above Best Before Dates, please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt." As the undeclared ingredient could pose a health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg, customers have been urged not to consume them. Instead, shoppers can return them to stores for a full refund, even without a receipt.
