Shoppers using Tesco Clubcard for their weekly shop have been given a warning
Customers who use a Tesco Clubcard for their weekly grocery shopping at Tesco instead of Aldi could be £551 a year worse off, according to new analysis by consumer magazine Which?
The analysis examined a typical shopping list of 62 items and discovered that purchasing them at Aldi in October would cost £111.66. Lidl was slightly more expensive, with the same basket costing an additional 41p, while Waitrose was the priciest option, charging shoppers £142.39. However, Tesco has narrowed the gap with Aldi since August, when the price difference was £652. This latest pricing analysis from Which? shows that significant savings can be made on groceries depending on where they are purchased, reports the Express.
