Kyle Bridgeman has been jailed for two years
A man had a knife held to his throat when he tried to stop a shoplifter stealing fresh goods from the fridges in Tesco.

However Judge Simon Medland KC, sentencing, said there was a "worrying escalation" in his offending, as he has now used the blade to threaten someone.
