The Pay+ app, which is a free payment app in which you can track your spending and earn Clubcard points, will be scrapped on February 27
Tesco shoppers have been urged to be aware that the retailer is shutting down two of its major apps this year.
And the Clubcard app itself will be axed by the end of this year, although no specific date has been agreed yet. Both of these apps provide shoppers with a way to digitally use their Clubcard instore, scanning it to earn points and get discounts on their shopping. A spokesperson said: "Bringing the functionality of Tesco Pay+ into the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app is a demonstration of our focus on providing products which closely align to the needs of Tesco shoppers."
