A Utah family took their Tesla onto the Bonneville Salt Flats and wrecked it at more than 100 mph, police said.
The five occupants were taken to a Salt Lake City hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They are from Utah County, the south end of the Salt Lake metro area. The crash was reported at 8:38 p.m. Sunday on the salt flats about 10 miles northeast of Wendover, Utah, just across the Nevada line.
