Tetsuko Itagaki, who was a secretary for five AP Tokyo bureau chiefs from 1958 until she retired in 1989, has died in Tokyo. She was 96.

This Oct. 28, 2010, photo shows Tetsuko Itagaki, retired confidential secretary to the AP Tokyo bureau as she visited the home of antiques dealer Yoshihiro Takishita in Kamakura, near Tokyo. Itagaki, who was a secretary for five AP Tokyo bureau chiefs from 1958 until she retired in 1989, has died in Tokyo. She was 96.
