A man who was jet skiing Aug. 18 bumped into the wreckage in the Neches River. Bill Milner, who grew up on the river, spent about three hours“I wanted to document to make sure I could share it with someone who may have more expertise than me to make sure what I found was maybe old,” Milner told local news stationIt turned out that historians have known about the shipwreck — which includes the remains of five different ships — since the 2000s.
