“She fell on me, and when I looked at her I [saw] blood — and I knew,” Amy Rodriguez, 18, recalled of her mom, Ana Moreno, being hit by the stray bullet that killed her Saturday.
An innocent Texas mom was killed when she was hit by a stray bullet from a daytime gun battle while driving one of her daughters to get her prom dress.
“I told her to keep going,” she said, tearing up as she recalled her mom signaling at her throat that she was not able to continue.“I didn’t care about prom. I didn’t care about anything. I just wanted her to be OK,” she said of her mom, who was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.Ana Moreno, 39, appears to have been caught up in a shootout between passengers in other cars Saturday.
