Watch The1975's music video for FrailStateOfMind
released a lo-fi music video for their latest single "Frail State Of Mind" on Thursday .
Directed by Patricia Villirillo, Mara Palena, and lead singer and guitarist Matty Healy, the clip features Healy in a cluttered room filming himself with a camcorder. Flickering scenes of his shadow dancing in front of a green screen, a white mask visual, and a black screen overlaid with red lyrics appear in between visuals of the singer, who is seen on the floor and sitting at a desk.
The song, which Healy previously described as a "global anxiety attack," is the band's third track to be released from their upcoming album which is due to arrive Feb. 21. They previously released "People" and an intro track featuring a monologue by climate activist Greta Thunberg, The 1975 recently received a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song with "Give Yourself A Try," off their 2018 album
