Since the first event of the 2022-23 high school sports calendar, we have been counting down to Thursday night.
Every season has been completed. Every championship has been won. Now, we're ready to honor the top central Ohio student-athletes from the past school year., presented by Encova Insurance and produced with the support of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
Athletes from 30 sports will be recognized, with an Athlete of the Year selected from each sport. Also during the live show, we’ll reveal the overall Boys Athlete of the Year, Girls Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, Boys Team of the Year and Girls Team of the Year for 2022-23.
