Dotun and Charity didn’t even speak during the premiere night. However, after their private interaction in episode 2, they began to fall in love. Dotun exceeded all of Charity’s expectations. From his blonde wig as Barbie’s Astronaut Ken to bungee jumping twice on their one-on-one date despite his fear of heights, Dotun was kind, stayed out of drama, and believed Charity was his kindred spirit.
Charity Is Still Engaged To Dotun The three-hour finale of The Bachelorette season 20 showed Charity getting her happy ending as she sent Joey packing and chose Dotun as her fiance. “Being here has taught me that one conversation can change everything,” Charity said to Dotun. She couldn’t hold back her tears because when she looked into Dotun’s eyes, she saw a man she could love forever. “Dotun, I want a forever future with you, I see you as my husband,” she said.
The Couple Will Be Taking A Trip To Greece Charity and Dotun are looking forward to taking their relationship public by doing things such as going grocery shopping, attending concerts, or hanging out with friends. “We've been doing our best to live lives apart and in hiding. And in everything we do, we're always like, ‘I wish you were here,’” he admitted. “We don’t care about anything else besides just being together,” gushed Charity.
Will Charity & Dotun Make It Down The Aisle? Charity and Dotun will not be getting married immediately. Charity wants to get married after a year-and-a-half-long engagement. “We’re not really trying to have a super incredibly 17-year length engagement,” she commented. Charity and Dotun will get married sometime in 2025 or 2026. They wish to have two weddings; one will be a traditional Nigerian wedding to honor Dotun’s heritage, while the other will be a standard American ceremony.
