Five of Glasgow's best curry houses are set to go head to head

Glasgow is surely recognised as the curry capital of Scotland with its incredible range of restaurants and, of course, the fact we may even have invented the Tikka Masala.

Back for 2022, the 18th annual ceremony for the British Curry Awards is set to be held at the end of this month in London, with an event held in honour of the UK’s leading spokesperson for the curry industry, the late Enam Ali MBE. New city centre restaurant Mowgli Street Food on St Vincent Street, the iconic Swadish on Ingram Street, the institution that is Charcoals Indian Restaurant on Renfield Street, the famous Obsession of India on the High Street and the Madras Cafe on Howard Street will all represent Glasgow at the awards.
