TheBoys star Erin Moriarty has joined the cast of TrueHaunting, a movie about the first ever televised exorcism.😱
The Boys breakout star Erin Moriarty has landed a new gig, and will lead Screen Gems' upcoming horror adaptation of Edwin F. Becker’s eponymous book, True Haunting. Moriarty has become a fan-favorite following her turn as the idealistic, light-emitting supe Starlight in Amazon Prime's subversive superhero drama series The Boys season 1 and 2.
A new report by Deadline reveals that Moriarty has been locked in to play the lead in True Haunting, a movie about the first televised exorcism, which is being directed by Gary Fleder. Also starring alongside Moriarty is The Twilight saga actor Jamie Campbell Bower, whose role remains undisclosed. True Haunting is expected to follow the plot of Becker's real-life-inspired novel, which saw the young couple Ed and Marsha Becker buy their first home, unaware of the unholy spirits within it.
