The cast of The Boys season 4 is growing as Jeffrey Dean Morgan joins the roster of Prime Video's superhero series. Developed by Supernatural creator Eric Kripke and based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson's graphic novels of the same name, the show is set in a world in which superheroes exist and most work under the conglomerate, Vought International.

As the series dives deeper into its source material, season 3 saw the addition of Supernatural vet Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, a legendary Supe who was kept cryogenically frozen by the Russians for decades, since the Cold War.
As filming kicks off on the next chapter of the show, the official The Boys Twitter account has announced that Jeffrey Dean Morgan has joined the cast of the series.
