In its new season, TheCrown tackles the saga of Prince Charles and Diana Spencer. For V.F.’s digital cover, juliewmiller speaks with actors Emma Corrin and Josh O’Connor about portraying one of the most famous (and ill-fated) couples of the 20th century:
’s fourth season spans the late 1970s to the early 1990s, and also examines the fascinating relationship between Queen Elizabeth and Margaret Thatcher . Morgan avoids dwelling on contemporary royal headlines while filming, but as he was making the new season, two erupted.
