Season 11: Reign of Fire was down to go live on February 7th, but Ubisoft last week announced the start of the new season had been delayed due to a localisation issue. Now, Ubisoft has admitted that when trying to fix this problem, it's brokenThe Division 2 localisation fix brings down build generation systemtweeted
."This past Saturday, in the process of creating the update which would resolve the issue, we encounter an error that brought down the build generation system for The Division 2. As a result, we cannot update the game until this system has been built." When new seasons have been delayed previously in The Division 2, Ubisoft would usually extend the current Season, but due to the severity of this issue, Ubisoft can't even do that as it is"unable to make server or client side updates until the build generation system is restored."
The team says it's"working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible" and has made good progress over the last 96 hours. Ubisoft will share a timeline for resolution when it has it and plans for in-game compensation soon.
