A dream mansion has come up for sale in Greater Manchester for a whopping £3,150,000, and it closely resembles the idyllic property that features in The Notebook.
Before they are forced apart because of their differences in society, Allie, played by Rachel McAdams wishes for "a white house with a big old porch," which years later is brought to life by Noah, played by Ryan Gosling. Now, a gated mansion that looks like Allie's dream house has come on the market in Hale, one of the region's 'most prestigious areas', which has an average house price of £663,340.
The individually-designed home has a grand entrance hall, three main reception rooms and a stylish open plan kitchen, dining and family room on the ground floor. Upstairs it has a large landing leading to four double bedroom suites, each with contemporary en-suite bath or shower rooms.
