. And now Anthony Richardson. You have him back in the lineup today against the Rams. What do you think is the best part of your relationship right now?The communication. With any young quarterback, it’s about not giving them too much information, and we try to dress up plays that he’s really good at and repeat them so he gets a ton of reps out of them. That’s from a practice standpoint, and when he gets into the game, we want him to feel like he’s been in that situation.
They give you some oddball looks and you coach off those and work through those, but just the communication, it’s all he knows, you know, when we get into those situations, what calls are coming in so he’s prepared and ready to go.For a new coach, establishing an identity can be hard. Who do you want the Colts to be by January?I want them to be about toughness and togetherness. That’s huge, playing for each other. It’s not about one person, it’s about the team.
