In The Flash, Barry Allen travels back in time to prevent the murder of his mother, Nora Allen, only to cause major unintended ramifications for the timeline and the entire multiverse. Barry also ends up joining forces with the Batman of another reality, namely Michael Keaton's Batman, along with a Kryptonian refugee named Kara Zor-El and a young Barry Allen, as well.
The Flash Can Cement Affleck's Batman Legacy Though Affleck's portrayal of Batman has generally been quite well-received, his time in the role has had more than a few challenges. Following the divisive reception of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the infamous last-minute reshoots on Justice League, Affleck left the role altogether, including his planned Batman solo movie, which eventually became Matt Reeves's The Batman.
