The truck returned 44.1 mpg. Another owner posted a photo of a 575 mile trip with an estimate 19 miles remaining until empty and 42.8 mpg.
Admittedly, it isn’t known exactly what type of roads and driving these owners were doing to achieve these figures but they are impressive and comfortably beat MPG figures for the truck released by the EPA. Officially, the Maverick Hybrid is rated at 42 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 37 mpg combined. Ford’s claim at the time of the truck’s launch was that it would do over 500 miles to a tank.all the more appealing is the fact that it is available from just $21,490.
