The Great British Bake Off 2022 reveals finalists after tense semi-final
In a nerve-racking Showstopper challenge, bakers were tasked with creating Krokan, a traditional nordic patisserie made from biscuits with marzipan and icing sugar decorations.
Making the enormous structures from biscuit, Syabira made a DNA helix, while Janusz's Krokan celebrated Brighton Pride, Abdul made a rocket, and Sandro celebrated his African heritage with a clock. Star Baker this week went to Abdul, who bagged it for the first time ever, making it to the final with Syabira and Sandro, but, sadly, it was the end of the road for Janusz."This is just awesome to see, because it just shows I have been improving," an elated Abdul said of his win.The Great British Baking Show, hosted by Tom Allen and Jo Brand, airs on Fridays at 8pm on Channel 4.
