The NASCAR/Hendrick Motorsports Corvette ZL1 joins a list of innovative entries since Garage 56 began in 2012.
Since 2012, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest has allowed for a single-entry class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The class is reserved for innovative or experimental entries. It allows for creativity and a standalone entry without taking away a spot from the traditional grid.
This year, that spot has been reserved for the NASCAR/Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Corvette ZL1 to be driven by Jimmie Johnson, Jenson Button and Mike Rockenfeller.
