The future of Helldivers 2 looks uncertain as the Terminids grow stronger and are mounting an attack against the Helldivers.
After spending the past month focused on the Automatons, it is now time to turn our attention back on the Terminids as they look to mount a full scale attack after the Terminid Control System failed to keep them at bay. Now, players must liberate the barrier planets once again to keep the Terminids at bay, but the future of Helldivers 2 is looking very uncertain.
Although it is likely that players will beat the current Major Order, it does seem like Arrowhead Game Studios is about to put a lot of focus back on the Terminids. We could see a similar scenario that we saw with the Automatons earlier this month where they come back stronger than ever. With both the Automatons and Terminids growing in numbers, it does beg the question of whether Super Earth could become under attack in the near future as the two enemy sides wage an assault of our home planet.
