Craig Harrison insists New Saints will not sit back and defend a three-goal lead when they travel to Montenegro for the second leg of their Champions League qualifier.

New Saints will face Hungary's Ferencvaros in the next round if they beat FK Decic over the two legsThe New Saints manager Craig Harrison insists his side will not sit back and defend a three-goal advantage when they travel to Montenegro for the second leg of their Champions League qualifier.Brad Young scored twice in what was an impressive performance from Harrison’s side, who go to Podgorica for the second leg on Tuesday, 16 July.

“Obviously there will be large spells you can deal with. But we can’t just rely on going out there and defending to keep a clean sheet.First-half goals from Dan Davies and a brace from Young secured the first leg win for Saints. “Two fantastic crosses and two fantastic headers,” Harrison said of former Aston Villa forward Young’s goals.

“We’ve had two or three other opportunities and maybe 4-0 would make it a real tough game for them to come back into. “But if someone had the way the game went and the result that we got... if I’m not happy with that then I need a kick up my backside.
