It’s easy to say that it’s a wacky coincidence that Kaprielian’s wild pitching synced up perfectly with an anecdote that captures the shambolic state of the A’s. But Cohen could have been reading the phone book and gotten a similar result. Kaprielian’s outing was, in fact, a representative sample of how bad Oakland’s pitching has been this year.
