Merseyside Police has released a number of pieces of CCTV of people they believe could help them in their various investigations

Police have issued CCTV images of two people who they believe can help with their investigations into an attempted robberyEvery month Merseyside Police release a number of pieces of CCTV which investigating officers believe can assist them in the various probes around the region. Officers want to speak with a number of people who they believe could hold vital answers when it comes to solving their investigations.

A 16-year-old boy from Anfield has been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and conditionally bailed pending further enquiries. Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “Our investigation continues into this despicable attack. We are today appealing to the males featured in the images, or anyone who recognises them to come forward. We believe they could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured or has any information is asked to contact @MerPolCC, 101 quoting ref. 24000577494 or @CrimestoppersUK, anonymously on 0800 555 111.At around 11.55pm on Wednesday, July 31, access was forced to Lloyds Bank on Sherborne Square and cash was stolen. At around 5am on Sunday 4 August, it was reported that a 19-year-old male was sat on a bench near Oasis in the Park café, which is within Sefton Park, when he was approached by two males on pedal bikes.

“Although the images are not of the best quality, we are hoping that his appearance, clothing and the circumstances of this incident will prompt people with information to come forward.” “If you recognise any of the men or were passing by and saw or captured anything let us know, and we will respond to all information to find those responsible and put them before the courts.”

I am appealing for the three men featured in these images, or anyone who recognises them to come forward. We believe they could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries. No injuries were sustained but the victim was left very shaken. Extensive CCTV and witness enquiries have been conducted, and detectives have issued a CCTV images of two men they believe could assist in their investigation.

“We also encourage people to come forward if you know anything about the incident which will help with our investigation. This incident took place on a busy main road so I urge anyone who noticed a man acting suspiciously around that time or has captured it on dashcam footage to please contact us.” Extensive enquiries are ongoing and detectives would like to identify the male pictured as he may have information to assist.

Detective Inspector Al-Ramadhan added: “Although the images are not of the best quality, we are hoping that someone might recognise his appearance, clothing, the bike he is riding, and the circumstances of this incident will prompt people with information to come forward.
