For the newest edition of the Daily Record's Village of the Week series, we have selected the gorgeous little destination of Brodick on the lovely Isle of Arran.
Each week, we pick one location around Scotland and shine a light on it. Although the weather might not be giving us the summer we want so far, this time we are choosing a sunny beach spot.
For shopping lovers, particular standouts include the Red Door gift shop and The Byre at Brodick clothes store. Meanwhile, those with a sweet tooth should make a beeline for the Arran Chocolate Factory. Taking a look at travel website Tripadvisor, the Cladach Beach House is very popular amongst visitors. It currently has an average rating of four out of five based on 34 reviews.
